Sessions that are not covered by DVA or NDIS are $235 per session. Payment for the session will be processed on the day of your appointment.

For patients under a Mental Health Care Plan 

• Session cost: $235

• Medicare benefit:  $141.85

• Gap paid by patients: $93.15

 

Please note that all clients referred under TAC will be charged a gap fee of $40 per session, payable at each session.

Sessions are scheduled for 50 minutes.

 You will receive a SMS reminder 3 days prior to your appointment. Simply respond YES or NO to convey if you will attend or not. It is important you do so, because a strict cancellation policy applies. 

 

Once an appointment has been made to see Valerie, a whole hour is reserved for you. If you do not let us know that you cannot attend, there is a loss of revenue for the clinician and we are unable to contact other patients on the waiting list in need of an appointment.

If, for some reason, you need to cancel or postpone your appointment, please give at least 48 hours’ notice. If not, cancellation fees may be charged as follows:

• Cancellation received less than 48 hours prior to your appointment: $100 fee. 

 

• Non-attendance or cancellation received less than 24 hours prior to your appointment: full fee for the session.

 

Details of the cancellation policy will be emailed to you prior to your appointment.  This policy applies to both face-to-face and videoconference appointments.

Please note that Medicare, DVA, TAC or health insurance rebates do not cover cancellation fees, and it will be your responsibility to cover those fees.
